The Israeli post office is issuing special stamps in honor of the pope's visit to the Holy Land next week.

The stamps feature the 12 Christian holy sites in the region that Pope Benedict XVI plans to visit during his tour.

The Israel Post reports the postal service will issue another dozen stamps later with the pontiff actually visiting the sites.
