A new report by the pentagon indicates that former Guantanamo Bay prisoners are returning to terrorism.
Of the 540 detainees that have been released 74 are suspected of terrorist activity.
Pentagon officials say evidence proves five-percent of those men are confirmed to have rejoined the jihad.
That proof includes fingerprints, DNA and photos linking 27 detainees to acts of terrorism.
President Obama says he wants to close Gitmo by January 2010 but lawmakers say they first want to know what he plans to do with the detainees still being held there.
