A new survey of Britain's Muslims has some surprising findings.

The Gallup Poll shows British Muslims are more patriotic than the British public at large.

Of British Muslims, 77 percent identify with the United Kingdom and its institutions.

That's compared to 50 percent of the general public.

The findings are surprising because other polls have shown a able numbers of British Muslims are sympathetic toward Islamic extremism.
