It's a grand illumination in France where Paris' famous Champs-Elysees street is now twinkling in splendor.

More than 415 lighted Christmas trees lined the famous boulevard.

Popular French actress Charlotte Gainsbourg officially switched on the city lights Monday and a flurry of confetti fell upon the thousands in attendance.

The holiday display runs from Place de l'Etoile to Place de la Concorde.

There's plenty of time to go see the famous street as the dazzling display will continue through January 10.
