Several weeks before Christmas, 20 Santa teams from all over the world competed at the annual Santa Claus World Championships in Samnaun, Switzerland.
The Santas had to perform in various disciplines, including Santa's sleigh, organizing Christmas presents and climbing the chimney.
There were also competitions in snow sculpturing and gingerbread decorating.
"On the one hand the Santa has to be creative. He must have esprit," contest organizer Christoph Kunz explained. "He also must have something in his head and the combination of all."
"This accounts for a Santa Claus and this is the quality award for the Santa Claus World Champion," he said.
The winning team was from the host country of Switzerland and was awarded 5,000 Swiss francs, which is roughly equivalent to $5,000.
