A recent wave of extreme cold has made life difficult for villagers living in Junin, Peru.
Temperatures have dropped as low as 14 degrees, causing severe illnesses and respiratory infections among many.
Families live in mud huts and usually have to wear wet clothes for days after it rains.
But Operation Blessing International has been helping the villagers. They have given out 61 boxes of clothes and 420 pairs of boots to help the villagers keep warm.
"Thank you for these gifts that we needed," one mother told Operation Blessing. "A thousand thanks for me and my children."
