Despite previous reports, a judge in Haiti says he is still weighing the case against the 10 American missionaries accused of kidnapping a busload of Haitian children.
Last week, the U.S. State Department said the charges had been dropped against the nine freed Americans.
But the judge in charge of the case, Bernard Saint-Vil, said Monday such pronouncements are premature as he has not yet made a decision on dropping the charges.
Saint-Vil says he is waiting for prosecutors to finish a review before he makes his final decision.
