The bodies of the Polish president and his wife are lying in state at the presidential palace in Warsaw, Poland.
Mourners gathered, Tuesday, to lay flowers and pay their final respects.
A state funeral will be held for them Sunday. President Barack Obama also recently announced plans to attend the service.
Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary president Phil Roberts just returned from Poland. He told CBN News the people in the Catholic country are turning to their faith.
"They are people that have turned to God it appears," Roberts said. "The number of flowers and candles, the number of people that have attended and been part of church services on Sunday was enormous."
"And so there seems to be a real sense in which there could be great spiritual benefit that could come from this tragedy," he added.
