It has been almost one year since a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck near Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The quake killed an estimated 230,000 people -- and affected some 3 million.
Since that time, countless organizations went to the island nation to meet the needs of the people of Haiti, providing clean water, food, medical aid, and moral support.
Richard Stearns, president of World Vision, the non-profit organization who has aided Haiti with its humanitarian efforts, discussed his impression of the needs of the country, and how his organization and others have impacted the people, on CBN News Channel Morning news, Dec. 21.
