While the Christian media diligently covers stories of Christian persecution around the world, the issue often goes unreported in the mainstream media.
This journalistic oversight persists despite a recent report by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life that indicates the Christian faith has become the religion of the persecuted.
"Altogether, Christians faced some form of harassment in two-thirds of all countries," the report read.
A spokesperson for the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life recently told the Toronto Star that Christians face harassment in more countries "than any other religious group."
