Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak responded in Washington, D.C., Friday to new threats against his country from leaders of Iran, Syria, and Hezbollah.

"It is clear to us, and I believe it will become more and more clear to others, that Iran tries to defy, defeat and deter the whole world regarding its nuclear ambitions," he said.  "And it plays to get more time to enable itself to move towards a nuclear, military capability."
