Missionaries Spread Good News at the Olympics

The Winter Olympics are underway in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Amid all the excitement over the competition, a group of Christians is using this as an opportunity to preach the Gospel to all nations.

A team of more than 100 missionaries with the organization known as Answers Worldwide will pass out Gospel tracts outside Olympic venues.

They hope to talk with people from around the world about Christianity. The ministry did the same thing during the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece.

And according to the ministry, more than 200 people accepted Jesus Christ.

The Christian group Athletes in Action has chaplains ministering to athletes at the Multi-Faith Center in the Olympic Village. CBN News Correspondent George Thomas recently spoke with Chaplain Carl Dambman about his work there. Click play to watch the interview.
