Pakistan police arrested six Taliban militants Tuesday who they say were plotting an attack against Americans staying in the city of Lahore.
Security forces arrested the suspects, including a 14-year-old boy, on their way to the Pearl Continental Hotel.
The group was carrying 26 hand grenades and the leader was wearing a vest filled with explosives. Police say the suspects told them they were on their way to the hotel to attack Americans.
It's not the first time Pakistani militants have targeted hotels and restaurants popular with Westerners.
The Pearl was attacked by a suicide bomber last June, killing nine guests. In 2008, 50 people were killed when a truck filled with explosives was driven into the Marriot Hotel Islamabad.
