Team USA Wins Gold in Men's Figure Skating

Team U.S.A. has reclaimed the lead in the medal race at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, B.C., surging ahead of Germany with a total of 18 medals six of them gold.

In the men's figure skating Evan Lysacek dethroned a Russian champion with his flawless performance on ice, winning the first U.S. gold medal in men's figure skating in 22 years.

Hannah Teter and Kelly Clark won silver and bronze in the women's halfpipe event.

And the U.S. men's hockey team continued their dominance on the ice, defeating Norway 6-1. They now meet Canada in the battle for the bragging rights of best hockey team in North America on Sunday.
