National Basketball Association legend Alonzo Mourning, and one of the co-founders of Athletes Relief Fund for Haiti, is lending a helping hand to Haiti.

Mourning went to Haiti just days after the earthquake struck the island nation.

In a recent interview with Christian World News, he spoke about the devastation and the inhuman images he saw, many of which are still etched in his memory.

"There are individuals there who are homeless and don't have anything," Mourning said. "They are displaced. They've just come from some very inhumane conditions already."

Mourning will return to Haiti this weekend.
