The Obama administration is pledging a little over one billion dollars to rebuild Haiti.
This as 120 nations gathered in New York Wednesday at a joint conference sponsored by the American government and the United Nations.
The conference aims to collect nearly four billion dollars in pledges to assist the earthquake-ravaged country.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned that failed support could lead to more migration, political instability and drug-trafficking.
It is estimated that Haiti will need eleven-and-a-half billion dollars over the next decade.
