Haiti President Rene Preval said Tuesday that his country needs more help with job creation and less donated food from the United States.
During a meeting with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Preval said too many food donations can hurt Haiti's local producers.
"Progress has been made, but not nearly enough," Clinton said.
Haiti's president will meet with President Obama in Washington, D.C., Wednesday, to talk about earthquake relief efforts.
Meanwhile, U.S. troops are withdrawing from the capitol city of Port-au-Prince. UN peacekeepers and Haitian police will be responsible for security.
