The Christian community in the Muslim nation of Afghanistan is so small that many residents have never encountered a believer.

CBN News Military Correspondent Chuck Holton has experienced that reality first-hand. He recently returned from six weeks in Afghanistan, where he was embedded with special operations units.

Holton said there's a great need for prayer that the Afghan people - both young and old - will somehow be able to hear the word of God.

"They just don't have access to any other options," he said.
