An amusement park in South Korea rang in the Christmas season on Tuesday with a parade of penguins decked out in holiday attire.
Officials from the Everland Amusement Park in Yongin dressed the flightless fowl in Santa Claus and reindeer costumes and sent them out to entertain young children.
South Korea has a large Christian population and Christmas is a special holiday in the democratic republic.
The event kicked off Everland's winter festival and delighted visiting children. One kindergartner said the penguins made her want Christmas to come soon.
Everland is of the world's busiest amusement parks, welcoming more than 6 million visitors each year.
