Heavy flooding in Mexico after Hurricane Karl struck the country last month has left thousands of residents with the danger of catching serious illnesses. However, Operation Blessing International has been providing relief to those hardest hit in the city of Veracruz.
Two large water purification systems have been installed and three tons of food and clothing have been distributed.
Victims of the flooding who were forced to live in temporary shelters, were treated with anti-parasite pills.
Operation Blessing volunteers have also worked in flooded communities, trying to stop the spread of water-borne diseases. They also cleaned up many homes that were damaged by the flood waters.
