Harsh living conditions in an area of northern Peru have made it very difficult for residents to get adequate healthcare.

Operation Blessing International has been in the Lamas Province of the South American country helping native Indian communities.
    
Recently, the aid organization held a health campaign at the Renacer Obstetrics Center. The special one-day medical mission provided much needed care the area's residents.
    
Overall, nearly 270 patients were treated, and anti-parasite medication was given to more than 500 people.
