Military Parade Introduces Next N. Korean Leader

Ad Feedback

A military parade in North Korea Sunday debuted Kim Jong Il's son as the country's next leader.

Kim Jong Un sat next to his father on an observatory platform at Kim Il Sung, confirming his status as heir to the communist regime.

The public debut was made less than two weeks after Kim Jong Un was made a four-star general and given a senior party position.

Kim Jong Un is the youngest of Kim Jong Il's three sons, but is said to be most like his father.
