The British government has recognized Druidry as an official religion after a four-year legal battle.
The British Charity Commission said Druidry has a serious set of beliefs and an ethical framework that is in the public interest.
The commission's 21-page decision concluded that the Druid Network, a group of about 350 Druids, is "established for exclusively charitable purposes for the advancement of religion for the public benefit."
Druidry is an ancient pagan tradition that dates back thousands of years. The religion worships deities of natural forces like the sun, thunder, and spirits from mountains and rivers.
The Druid Network will be receiving a British tax break and equal status to mainstream religions like Christianity.
