Haitian Quake Victims Receive Wheelchairs

Ad Feedback

The charity aid organization, Operation Blessing International, is providing wheelchairs to Haitians who were victims of the devastating earthquake that struck the island nation last January.

One recipient was 17-year-old Wagner, who lives in the capital city of Port-au-Prince.  He had to have his left leg amputated after a bicycle injury.
The accident occurred because of hazardous road conditions due to the earthquake.
Operation Blessing in partnership with the Free Wheelchair Mission plans to give out 5,500 more wheelchairs in Haiti over the next year. So far, the aid groups have distributed wheelchairs in 12 countries.
