A burglar in Malaysia broke into a house to steal jewelry, but then fell asleep on the homeowner's couch. The items were worth about $3,200.
The family returned home from vacation and found that their living room was a mess. The wife then found the man asleep upstairs.
"When his wife went up the upper floor to check the bedrooms, she was surprised to find a stranger taking a nap in her son's room," a spokesman for George Town police told BBC News.
The thief escaped through a window, but was arrested nearby. The 42-year-old man has yet to be charged.
He tested positive for drugs and already had 14 previous convictions.
