The Church of England has announced its praying for the upcoming royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The prayer, published on the church's website, asks God to help the young prince and his bride-to-be remain faithful in their marriage.
The heavenly petition also calls on God to strengthen the couple's will and deepen their love for one another.
Catholic leaders in England and Wales also issued similar prayers.
"We wanted to offer our prayers and best wishes to the happy couple as they embark on their married life together and continue their service to the nation and the Commonwealth," a spokesperson from the U.K. Bishops Conference told the Catholic News Agency on April 6.
The royal couple's wedding is scheduled for April 29 at Westminster Abbey.
