A young Chinese mother is alive thanks to the help she received from Operation Blessing China.
    
Xiuwei, 29, traveled to Beijing with her husband to get help for their son who is deaf. While there, the mother suffered an acute cerebral infarction -- a type of stroke.
    
Doctors predicted that if she survived, she would probably be paralyzed. But Operation Blessing China was able to raise more than $4,000 to pay for the mother's treatment.

"As you can see, Xiuwei is recovering very well," said her husband, Zhenting. "Thank you, Operation Blessing China."

Doctors are calling the young woman's recovery a miracle.
