The Christian Broadcasting Network's Orphan's Promise ministry recently partnered with a local church in Peru to premiere the Spanish-language version of the latest Superbook episode.

More than 800 children and parents attended the event.

Children were given gifts as well as traditional bread and hot chocolate.

After watching Superbook's "The First Christmas," the audience was told about the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Almost everyone in attendance accepted Jesus as their personal savior, according to Orphan's Promise officials.

The local church will follow up with the new believers and host Bible studies so that they can continue to grow in their faith.
