A faith-based Israeli team joined CBN's Operation Blessing International in Japan this week to help with relief efforts.
The humanitarian group IsraAID sent water and sanitation professionals to the devastated country, along with workers with a background in search and rescue.
IsraAID leader Elad Seker will oversee the search and rescue operation in Japan. In Israel, he's commander of the Arava Desert rescue unit.
"We have a very good cooperation with Operation Blessing. We work together. It's amazing," Seker said. "And I think this cooperation has emphasized the meaning of helping each other."

"Rather if you are Christian, if you are Jewish, it's never mind. We have the same target, the same goal to help people," he added.
Operation Blessing and IsraAID have worked together before. The two organizations worked hand in hand after the 2009 typhoon in Philippines and the 2010 earthquake in Haiti.
