Less than three months after the murder of Nigerian pastor David Usman, Islamic extremists have executed another Christian in the country.
The latest killing involves 36-year-old evangelist Mark Ojunta. Ojunta was ministering in Nigeria's northeastern state with Calvary Ministries when he was killed by the radical group Boko Haram.
Compass Direct News reports Ojunta, his wife and two children found out they were on a hit list back in August.
The evangelist safely evacuated his family, but decided to return to the area to teach a class to believers when he was killed.
Although Ojunta was buried late last month in his home state of Abia, news of his death was only reported recently.
Northern Nigeria is considered one of the top 25 worst nations for persecuted Christians.
