Operation Blessing International is helping people suffering from the effects of leprosy in South Sudan.
Throughout recorded history, lepers have been considered as outcasts by society.
A leper colony was set up in the 1970s outside of Juba, Sudan.
The disease has been eliminated in the community, but the lasting social effects prevent many from finding work.
OBI teams recently traveled to the colony to bring much needed aid. They distributed food, blankets, mosquito nets, lentils, milk and fish.
