Evangelist Will Graham, grandson of Billy Graham, is in the United Kingdom this week for his first ever mission trip to the country.

Graham is following in his grandfather's footsteps in taking the gospel to Great Britain.

Over the weekend, he shared his plans with 1,000 Christians gathered at London's Wembley Stadium for a Global Day of Prayer leadership summit.

Graham also spent time praying personally for the next generation of young leaders at the Global Day of Prayer summit.

Next weekend's mission event is known as Rock Thurrock. Graham said it's generating a lot of enthusiasm.

Graham said he hoped "this won't be my last trip, but maybe many more to come."

The Rock Thurrock Celebration is scheduled for Sept.23-25 at the Thurrock Civic Hall in Grays, Essex.

Several British Christian bands are scheduled to appear with Graham at the event.
