Christians in Nigeria faced yet another church attack Monday night, this time resulting in at least 19 deaths.
Gunmen stormed into the Deeper Life Church in central Nigeria and opened fire during a prayer gathering.
Police and soldiers surrounded the church Tuesday morning as authorities continued searching for the attackers, who fled into the woods.
Officials said no one has claimed responsibility for the killings, although the radical Islamist group Boko Haram is known for carrying out violent attacks like this on Nigeria's Christians.
The group is blamed for more than 660 killings this year alone.
