The Swedish Christian worker shot in Pakistan last week has died.
An unknown gunmen shot Birgetta Almby in front of her home in Lahore on Dec. 3. She died Thursday of her injuries in a hospital in her native Sweden.
Almby served with Full Gospel Assemblies in Pakistan for 38 years.
Police have not caught the killer and say they don't know why the missionary was murdered.
However, Pakistani church officials suspect Islamic extremists carried out the attack.
A Pakistani colleague told Morning Star News that Almby was loved by everyone and her death is a loss for the Christians in that county.
Almby was 70 years old.
