British police have arrested seven more terrorist suspects after a routine vehicle search turned up firearms and other weapons.
They arrests came one day after officers in London detained six other terror suspects. With just weeks to go before the London Olympics, officials are on high alert.
An early morning raid Thursday near London's Olympic Park led to the six arrests that possibly foiled a terrorist attack.
Police arrested five men and a woman. The suspects' identities haven't been revealed but their ages range from 18 to 30 -- all of them British Muslims.
Authorities said the arrests are related to a possible plot involving Islamic extremists and potential targets in the United Kingdom.
Security in London has been tight headed into the final weeks before the 2012 Summer Olympics, which begins July 27.
In a separate incident, police also pulled over a bus on its way to the city Thursday, responding to reports that a passenger poured liquid into a smoking bag.
That call turned out to be a false alarm, but police are continuing to take no chances.
Both events came just days after police arrested two Muslim converts believed to be plotting an attack on the London Olympic canoeing venue.
