A top commander of Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army was taken into custody by Ugandan forces following a fight with rebels.
Caesar Acellam was one of Kony's top military strategists and fighters.
"He is in good condition," Uganda Lt. Col. Abdul Rugumayo said. "He was captured with two other rebels. They were in a group of 30 rebels."
"He is big fish, very big fish," another official, who wanted to remain anonymous, added.
The capture is said to be a big blow to warlord Joseph Kony, who's thought to be hiding in Sudan.
The advocacy group "Invisible Children" recently made Kony the focus of international attention online through its "Kony 2012" videos.
Kony is known for recruiting child soldiers for his army and is wanted for years of brutal killing in Uganda.
