Another insider killing took place in Afghanistan Sunday, the latest in a series of attacks shattering the trust between NATO and Afghan forces.
A gunman dressed in an Afghan army uniform shot and killed a British member of the U.S.-led coalition forces. The gunmen infiltrated the base in the Nad Ali district of Helmand province.
According to the spokesman for the governor of Helmand province, an argument between an Afghan soldier and coalition service members sparked the shooting.
Coalition figures show at least 60 service members have been killed this year in 45 insider attacks by members of the Afghan security forces or terrorists dressed as soldiers.
The attacks have raised concern about allied forces attempting to train Afghans to take over their country's security by the end of 2014.
