The Dutch parliament will scrap a law protecting the Lord's name from blasphemy.

The move comes after a decade-long movement to decriminalize insulting God, all in the name of free speech.

Last year, conservative politician Geert Wilders was protected under similar reasoning when he criticized Islam.

Dutch law still considers it a crime to insult police officers and the nation's queen.
