Muslim Protesters Attack French Embassy in Iran

Ad Feedback

Foreign embassy attacks are continuing as Muslims act out in retaliation for an anti-Islam film and other negative portrayals of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

Dozens of angry protesters smashed a guard post at the French embassy in Iran as well as a nearby bulletin board.

Shop venders in Tehran said at least 30 people were arrested as a result of the Tuesday morning attack.

The Iranian protestors were angry over the controversial "Innocence of Muslims" film as well as caricatures of Muhammad recently published in a French magazine.

Iran's state television did not report the violence and showed only peaceful rallies around the country.
