Syria's Deadly Civil War Spills into Lebanon

Ad Feedback
Syria's civil war appears to be spilling into neighboring Lebanon.

An Associated Press photographer reportedly saw dozens of gunmen roaming the streets of a mostly Sunni neighborhood of Beirut Monday.

State-run media reported that at least two people have been killed in clashes in Beirut and other parts of the country overnight. More than a dozen others were wounded.

Tensions are rising in Lebanon between those who support and oppose Syria's President Bashar al-Assad.

On Friday, a Lebanese brigadier general, who challenged Syria, was killed in a car bomb in East Beirut.
