The violence in Egypt and Libya is sparking calls from thousands of Americans to end U.S. funding for those countries.
The American Center for Law and Justice has started a petition calling on the Obama administration to stop sending taxpayer dollars to nations that permit terrorism.
So far, almost 20,000 Americans have signed the petition.
"It's time to bring an end to a foreign policy of 'appeasement and apologies,'" Jay Sekulow, chief counsel for the ACLJ, said in a statement Thursday.
"We're calling on the Obama administration to cut-off funding to Libya and Egypt until stable governments - which support America - are put in place," he said.
