The Pakstani girl shot by the Taliban is in stable condition in a British hospital after successful surgeries to repair her skull and restore her hearing.
The attack on 15-year-old Malala Yousufzai made headlines last fall when Islamic terrorists targeted her because she promoted girls' education and "Western thinking."
Malala has been receiving medical treatment and government protection in the United Kingdom since October.
Doctors say her recovery is going well and they are "very pleased" with her progress after the latest surgery.
In a video statement, Malala told followers she is "getting better, day by day."
