Investigators are taking a closer look at the role of the train operator in Wednesday evening's deadly crash in Spain that killed at least 80 people and wounded dozens more.

The operator remains hospitalized under police guard as investigators plan to continue questioning him on Friday.

A video of the crash shows the train coming around a curve at 120 mph, more than twice the 50-mph speed limit for that stretch of track.

The passenger train, near the end of a six-hour trip from Madrid, derailed along that curvy stretch in the northwestern part of the country.

About 90 passengers remained hospitalized Friday morning.
