Massive flooding could prompt widespread evacuations across western Canada.One person is reported missing.

Officials said as many as 100,000 people in Calgary may soon be forced to leave their homes.

Six communities along the Elbow River have already received mandatory evacuation orders.

Mudslides caused by torrential rains shut down the Trans-Canada Highway and massive flooding has washed out roads and bridges in Alberta.
