On Easter weekend, CBN Mexico will launch the new version of the animated series "Superbook," or Superlibro as it's called in Latin America.

The series will broadcast on the third largest network in Mexico. Churches are gearing up to promote the program.

Thousands of Mexicans will enjoy the adventures of Luis, Anita, and the robot Tuercas, who are eyewitnesses to the most important moments of Jesus' ministry, including the reason for His sacrifice on the cross.

CBN Mexico secured airtime on Cadena 3 to broadcast several episodes March 30.

"Cadena 3 airs in all 31 states of the nation of Mexico," Director of CBN Mexico Guillermo Ramirez said. "We are going to be broadcasting at prime time on Cadena 3, during the children's programming."

Churches and ministries will be inviting unbelievers to watch the animated series.

"We are expecting a good number of pastors to notify their congregations about the broadcast on March 30. Also we are visiting churches and letting people know (about) some special events about the broadcast," Ramirez said.

"Superbook" is a children's Bible story series that has been translated into several languages for distribution all over the world. The original series was created decades ago. Now CBN is launching "Superbook" with a brand new look.
