Christians Worldwide Gather to Pray for Burma

Ad Feedback

Millions of Christians around the world are gathering for the Global Day of Prayer for Burma.

Despite some democratic reforms in that country, more than 100,000 ethnic Burmese are still living as refugees in neighboring Thailand.

In recent weeks, government troops have attacked the Kachin people, many of whom are Christian.

Christians are praying for greater religious freedom for Burma and for God to give believers there the strength to endure persecution.
