Cook's Exit 'Opportunity' to Push Religious Freedom

One way to stop radical religious terrorists is to promote religious freedom, according to Dr. Thomas Farr, director of Georgetown University's Religious Freedom Project.

However Farr said the United States hasn't done a very good job at promoting religious freedom in recent years.

Now, with the resignation of the Suzan Johnson Cook, U.S. ambassador-at-large for religious freedom, after 17 months in the position, it could get worse.

***Farr recently told CBN News the resignation presents an opportunity for the president to turn things around. He shared more of his views on the matter on CBN News Today, Nov. 7.
