Death Threats Force Children's Center to Close

A children's center in eastern India is being forced to close because of threats to the Christians operating it.

Gospel For Asia reported its Bridge of Hope Center was marched on and death threats were made to the staff by extremists.

The closure displaces 100 impoverished children who were receiving much needed food, medical care, and education.

"It breaks our hearts to see adults who should be the protectors of these children become the road-blocks to their future and hope for a better life," K.P. Yohannan, Gospel For Asia founder, said.

The organization is asking Christians to pray for the staff and children.
