Russian Ministry: Winter Games a Missions Field

Ad Feedback
Next February, the eyes of the world will be on Sochi, Russia, the Black Sea resort where the 2014 Winter Olympics will be held.

It's the first time a city in the Russian Federation has hosted the games since the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991.

Though there's been a measure of political freedom since the fall of communism, most Russians still have not found spiritual freedom in Jesus Christ.

Sergey Rakhuba, president of the U.S.-based Peter Deyneka Russian Ministries, talked about how the Winter Games present a unique opportunity to share the Gospel with Russians in their native language, on CBN News Today, Nov. 1.
