Secretary of State John Kerry is vowing to use diplomacy to confront Iran's nuclear program.

The news comes after a warning from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the United Nations this week. He says Iran's new President Hassan Rouhani is "a wolf in sheep's clothing" who is trying to lull the West into a false sense of peace.

Kerry says Iran will have to prove that it really intends to cooperate. But he says it would be "diplomatic malpractice" not to test Iran's willingness.

Meanwhile, there are new signs that the shadow war against Iran is far from over.

Iran's cyber warfare commander has been shot dead. The British paper The Telegraph reports he appears to have been assassinated.

Five Iranian nuclear scientists have been assassinated over the past few years. Iran has blamed Israeli spies for those killings.
